What: A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
Take your family and friends out for a Charlie Brown movie night with pretzels, popcorn and jelly beans dinner! The City of Henderson, Public Works, Parks and Recreation Department is hosting Charlie Brown’s annual Thanksgiving dinner for you and your family to enjoy. All guests will also have the chance to win prizes and crafts to take home. Registration is required by November 19, 2014. Cost $8

What: 2014 Outdoor Holiday Decorating Contest
Bring out your all of your Christmas decorations and light your holiday season! The Commemorative Beautification Commission’s 2014 Holiday Decorating Contest opens to any homes within Henderson city limits. The contest is open to the first 50 entries, and the deadline is December 1st. This year’s theme is “spread the holiday cheer.” Winner will be chosen on December 8, 2014.
