Spring Cleaning

Spring is almost here! The weather is warming up and on nice days you can open up the windows and let the fresh air in.

With the nice weather and the prospect of great warm weather activities comes, cringe, spring cleaning! Here at the Emerald Island Casino we clean every inch of the casino and parking lot all year long!

If you’ve ever been to the Emerald Island Casino around dawn on a Tuesday morning you may have seen our crew of carpet cleaners steam cleaning the carpets.

In the Emerald Island Grille, the staff cleans the kitchen, prep areas, and dining room before, during and after each shift. At least once a month, the kitchen undergoes a complete and thorough cleaning during which time the major appliances are all disassembled and painstakingly sanitized.  At the Emerald Island Casino we are very proud that we maintain excellent food handling safety and that we consistently earn an “A” grade from the Health Department.

Our maintenance teams patrol the parking areas and remove all debris.  On a monthly basis, the parking lot and walkways are power washed.  Even the parking stall tire chocks are regularly cleaned!

We want to acknowledge our porters, cleaning  and maintenance staff for all their hard work in helping to keep the Emerald Island Casino the bright and shiny Jewel of Henderson. Thank you one and all!
