The Emerald Island Casino takes great pleasure in supporting our local community. Tim Brooks and team provided a delicious BBQ meal, along with the Henderson Brewing Community raising funds for the benefit of the Mary and Sam Boyd Boys and Girls Club. The Club suffered some damage due to vandalism recently and this event gave us the opportunity to help.
Tim Brooks, Chairman of the Board for the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, acted as Master of Ceremonies at the 2016 State of the City event. The occasion was held at the Grand Ball Room at the Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, Nevada. Tim was joined on stage with Mayor Andy Hafen, Scott Muelrath of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, and the rest of the Henderson City Council. The event was attended by 1,500 people highlighting why our city is a great place to live, work and play.
Tim Brooks as Chairman of the Board for the Henderson Chamber of Commerce was on hand at the December Networking breakfast to present checks to two worthy causes. The Veterans Treatment Court was the beneficiary of $5,975.36 from the first annual charity golf tournament held at Chimera Golf Club in October. Also, “In Twelve Days” received a check from RC Wiley to support their cause of creating happier holidays for families in need.
Emerald Island Casino is a member of The Henderson Chamber of Commerce. The Henderson Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit, professional organization committed to promoting and supporting member businesses.

Co Owner Tim Brooks served as President of the Water Street Business District for four years. The association meets monthly to discuss the needs and concerns of business owners , do community outreach and work to encourage a business friendly community for business owners, residents, and visitors.
