On Saturday, February 21, 2015 Emerald Island Casino in Henderson, Nevada celebrated the reopening of the expansion and remodel of their popular Emerald Island Casino Grille.
The event was highlighted by a Ribbon Cutting sponsored by the City of Henderson Chamber of Commerce.
The Ribbon Cutting was well attended by the loyal guests of Emerald Island, numerous members of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce and City of Henderson officials. Guests were treated to delicious food from the Grille including appetizers, shrimp, pulled-pork sliders and an assortment of fine desserts. Speakers included Scott Muelrath, President/CEO of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, a representative of U. S. Congressman Joe Heck’s office and Gerri Schroder, City of Henderson Councilwoman for Ward 1.
Co-owner and General Manager Tim Brooks states the expansion was “to better serve our gets and to satisfy a demand for many years”. The expansion doubles in size the existing restaurant by 1,000 square feet accommodating 120 guests. In addition to enlarging the seating area, the Grille received an all new kitchen. The grille is open twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
Emerald Island Casino is located in Downtown Henderson, Nevada and is Nevada’s only all penny casino.
