We have seen a lot of changes in 2016.We completed our bathroom remodel to provide more facilities and enhanced access for our guests. We have kicked off another project which will remodel our executive offices, our staff break room, the Emerald Island Casino Rewards Center and provide our guests with additional restrooms.
We said good-bye to our long-time Director of Operations, Craig G. We sincerely wish him a long and happy retirement!
We would miss him a lot more if it weren’t for the fact that Lisa G. has seamlessly taken over the reins as our new Director of Operations.Great job Lisa! Filling Lisa’s position as Host, we are happy to welcome Courtney! Jaime has also joined as us the new Manager of the Emerald Island Grille. Welcome Jaime!
We have continued to strive to give you, our valued guests, the best customer service experience possible. We are immensely proud of the work that our team is doing to make the Emerald Island Casino a warm and welcoming place that you can come to to enjoy good food, great times and your favorite video reel and video poker machines. We are very proud of the success of our company in creating jobs and opportunities for team members from all walks of life.
This year we have also partnered up with a number of charitable and civic organizations and have donated both our time and resources to help give back to the Henderson community. The knowledge that you’ve done something good for someone else is very rewarding and is the highest honor.
Emerald Island Casino team members have also welcomed several new children into their families: Mikey (a daughter), Brittany (a son), and Christie (a daughter).
This year marked our thirteenth anniversary in the Water Street Business District. We have welcomed new neighbors including Lovelady Brewing, Sports Collectibles Plus and, very soon, TSK Architects and Makers and Finders. We look forward to the continued growth and revitalization of the Water Street District.
