Independence Day, or the Fourth of July, is a great summer holiday celebrating the Continental Congress adopting the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
The 4th of July falls on a Monday this year and is, as always, a Federal Holiday. It will certainly be a busy travel day as people enjoy an extended holiday. The City of Henderson has a great fireworks event planned this year at the Mission Hills Park. The City of Henderson invites you to celebrate Independence Day in Henderson with great live entertainment and the time-honored traditional fireworks display.
