As anyone who has visited Downtown Henderson lately knows, there are a number of new and exciting things happening in the Water Street District!
Merchants on Water Street have several new neighbors and many more on the way!!! The Emerald Island Casino is pleased to welcome their many new retail, food and beverage establishments and professional offices.
As construction is underway at the South end of Water Street, Lovelady Brewing is celebrating it’s four month anniversary at their brewery and taproom at Water Street’s North end.
Founder Richard Lovelady, his wife, brothers and assorted family members are as warm, welcoming and comfortable as their new 6,000-square-foot brewery.
Lovelady Brewing is a great place for a cold, fresh beer after work. They offer great craft beers that are fated to become contenders with some of the nation’s finest ales. It is also a great place to meet up
with friends and just hang out. If you like shuffle board or cornhole games, both can be played there while you sip one of their sours, their great Red Ale, a Sessions, or one of their rotating small batch creations.
We like their Love Triangle Red ale so much that, coming soon, the Emerald Island Casino will proudly feature it as one of our great variety of craft beers on tap.
Another new business to open on Water Street just across from Lovelady Brewing is Sports Collectibles Plus. These two business seem to go hand in glove! They are a great treat for all guys and gals who love sports and beer. Sports Collectibles Plus has a huge selection of vintage sporting items, sports collectibles (including cards, jerseys and t-shirts), action figures and comic books.
